It has been 25 years since I had my big fat Greek wedding to my mustachioed Greek husband.  Our wedding reception was in the backyard of my Mother-in-law’s farm nestled in illustrious mountains of the island of Crete.  In those incredible 25 years I have been immersed in the colorful and warm culture of Greece, and I would not trade it for the world.  Every summer my husband and I take my kids, Antonios and Evangelia to Crete to explore all of the island’s wonders.  I think I speak for my whole family when I say one of the best things about Crete is the FOOD!  Spend a day with my mother-in-law and you’ll get fed enough food to feed you for seven, and you can bet that a large portion is made with olive oil from our olive trees.  All of those late nights with family and friends eating Moussaka and drinking Ouzo have led me with a desire to bring these healthy experiences to your families table.
